The National Golf Tourism Conference and Gala Irish Golf Awards are to take place in Westport from Sat 18th to Mon 20th October 2014

The “IGTOA National Golf Tourism Conference & Gala Irish Golf Awards” is the largest gathering of golf tourism industry professionals across the island of Ireland and it will also attract delegates to the North West of Ireland from Europe and North America in October 2014.The event is run each year by the Ireland Golf Tour Operator Association (IGTOA), which is the National Representative Body for the Irish Golf Tourism Industry and is supported by our National Tourism Development Agencies Fáilte Ireland, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Tourism Ireland.

Regional event partner Mayo County Council welcomed this news for the County of Mayo and are looking forward to working with the IGTOA in the months ahead to bring this event to fruition. The “2014 Golf Classic” will be hosted at Westport Golf Club attracting leading Irish Golf Tour Operators, representatives from key organisations in the world of Irish golf and delegates from Irish golf tourism companies across the country.
