Back by popular demand to open the Westport Food Festival weekend, teams of Westport chefs compete to create stunning dishes in a six-course banquet.

The evening starts with a sparkling wine reception and sampling of local food products. This is followed by the six-course dinner showcasing the synergy between Westport’s chefs and food producers. Chefs are divided into teams and each team responsible for a different course. A video link to the kitchen will allow diners to watch the chefs cook up a storm before voting for their favourite team.

Guest MC is celebrity reporter Noel Cunningham of TV3’s Ireland AM, who will keep everyone entertained. Dinner is followed by a Parade of Chefs and music and dancing til dawn with local band “What the Funk”.

All guests leave with a special goody bag.
