Orlaith Keane comes from one of the most famous musical families that Galway has ever produced. The eldest daughter of Matt and Florence, and niece to Dolores and Seán, she has been influenced by the Keane Céilí Band and her famous grand aunts Rita and Sarah, and she has also been performing live for many years as part of Citizens Keane.

Her solo album, ‘Home Place’, got great reviews a few years back. She is currently recording new songs for release in the coming weeks – and no doubt a few of these will get an airing when she plays in Westport Town Hall Theatre on Friday, October 19.
