Veillon-Riou

Created in 1993, Veillon-Riou, an acclaimed flute-and-guitar duo dedicated to Breton music, will perform in Matt Molloy’s Yard Bar on Sunday, September 28.

Jean-Michel Veillon and Yvon Riou have played at innumerable Breton traditional festivals in France and toured extensively in Ireland (recording a live album, ‘Beo’, at Irish-language cultural centre McAdam O Fiaich in Belfast) as well as in Poland, Italy, England, Canada and the US. Their concert repertoire extends to Irish and Scottish music and beyond.
