The top at 764m offers fabulous views of Clew Bay and the islands. On our descent we briefly take the pilgrim path before again picking up the ridge that brings us to Crott Mountain. Our final descent to the Western way and onwards to the road where our transport is waiting.

Sunday 5th April

Starting from outside Leenane village this route takes us to the Inagh valley, starting on a rocky track with great views over Killary fjord. The route then passes through woodland, before the final section, on a bog track that can be wet and muddy in places.
