Acclaimed traditional musicians, singers and dancers from across Mayo will be performing at the Westport Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Éireann Spring Concert at Westport Town Hall on Friday evening, March 22. This wonderful celebration of Irish music, song and dance will showcase the rich tapestry of musical talent in the region, with household names supporting and inspiring the young emerging musicians from the local Westport Comhaltas branch. A host of special guest performers and All-Ireland champion winners will tread the boards, including All-Ireland champion singer and musician Paddy Heneghan from Castlebar, renowned Louisburgh flautist Jillian O’Malley, Dan Delaney and friends, the Cuan Mó set dancers, sean nós dancers Liam and Cathy Scanlon, traditional balladeer John Hegarty and local musical legends Pat Friel, Liam Grealis, Tommy Lyons, Frank McCarrick, TP Lynn, Tony Reidy and Bernice Connolly.
