Sisters Angela, Joan, Thérèse and Gráinne Diver have come a long way since the early days, when they would play covers at surfing festivals in their hometown, Bundoran. Since signing a deal with London based Blue Mountain Music publishing company, they have played alongside such big names as Christy Moore and Liam O’Maonlai, toured with Sinéad O’Connor and Babba Maal, appeared on David Letterman, recorded with Peter Gabriel and performed backing vocalists on a Joni Mitchell track. The Screaming Orphans’ wide range of influences include Simon and Garfunkel, The Bangles, and traditional music, with a strong focus on melody-driven songs with pop and rocks strains.
