Worldwide Fans Reunion Party

From her first venture as a singer with the Old Cross Ceili Band to the present time, Philomena has entertained audiences all over the world and has gained the respect of fellow performers everywhere. She has undertaken major tours of Great Britain and the United States, where she has performed with international country star, Porter Wagoner at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

 She has been a guest of honour at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York and has sung in that city’s famous Carnegie Hall. One of her closest friends, Billie Jo Spears passed away recently and Philomena recorded a tribute song to her. Even though, Philomena has travelled the world and shared stages with the biggest names in the country music industry she is still the down to earth girl from Pomeroy in CountyTyrone.

On April 4^th and 5^th next Philomena is inviting her fans, friends and neighbours to a real Hooley in Westport to celebrate her life and times and of course her unprecedented success in the business. She will perform her superb shows over 2 nights at the beautiful Westport Woods Hotel, Spa and Leisure Centre with her Band, ably assisted by her son, Aidy Quinn and “special guests”, close friends, Susan McCann, Muriel Day, Frank McCaffrey and the very popular “ Legends on Tour”.

 The Philomena Begley Weekend in Westport will a real “reeling back the Years” event and a tribute to one of Ireland’s best loved and most popular entertainers.
