Wilderland, the UK’s first-ever touring wildlife film festival, will stop off in Westport on Thursday, March 26. The event will showcase a specially curated clutch of stunning natural-world stories, as filmed by a host of independent international filmmakers. Comprised of nine short films chosen from a shortlist of over 50, the evening promises to take audiences into the fascinating, challenging worlds of some of the planet’s most extraordinary wildlife. See how the mercurial snow leopard co-exists with Himalayan communities, learn about Borneo’s diminishing orangutan population, gain insight into the impact of oceanic noise- pollution on the majestic humpback whale – and more.
